Matthew Lee is a multi-faceted Real Estate Advisor with Macdonald Realty’s Westside office in Vancouver, B.C. and consistently produces high transactional volumes as one of the firm’s residential and multifamily market specialists. In 2004, after graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Degree specializing in Marketing,  Matthew was recruited to Macdonald Realty’s Project Marketing Division, the Platinum Project Marketing Group lead by George Wong. For the next five years that ensued, Matthew worked his way into a senior position at Platinum, where he oversaw new project directives, he worked with designers, architects, project consultants, and managed his own sales team. At the end of his tenure with Platinum, Matthew was involved in the successful launch and completion of 35 real estate developments spanning from the University of British Columbia to Kelowna.

In late 2009, Matthew transitioned into a Senior Management position with Macdonald Realty Group where he co-managed all three Vancouver real estate offices and oversaw the hiring and development of 300 real estate agents. During his management tenure the Vancouver offices produced record revenues and profits and Matthew was selected by Macdonald Realty’s CEO Lynn Hsu to create a boutique Corporate Project Marketing division in order to fully-utilize the firm’s full-service assets in: land acquisition, design consultation, sales and marketing, and property management.

Eventually this paved the path for Matthew to return to a real estate advisory position, which now includes expertise in several core facets of residential single family, multi-family (strata), leasehold land, commercial real estate, land assembly and project marketing for new residential properties.

A resident of Vancouver’s Westside, Matthew volunteers his time as a parent-coach in several youth community sports namely, soccer with Vancouver United FC, baseball with Dunbar Little League and ice hockey with the Arbutus Club. Matthew served on the Fundraising Committee for the B.C. Professional Fire Fighters Association Burn Fund for the construction of the Legacy Project and recovery centre, which opened in the Spring of 2016. Matthew currently holds positions on both the Minor Hockey and Planning and Development Committees at the Arbutus Club.
